Director of Rehabilitation Services named 2009 Mercy Award winner

Beth Kutis was recently awarded Lakeland Community Hospital's 2009 Mercy Award. This honor put Beth in the running for LifePoint Hospital's 2009 company-wide Mercy Award, the highest honor an employee can receive from LifePoint Hospital's Inc., Lakeland Community Hospital's parent company.
The Mercy Award recognizes one employee who best represents the spirit and values on which the company was founded. The annual award was established in 2002 to honor the life of Scott Mercy, LifePoint's founding Chairman and CEO.
Beth has worked at Lakeland since May 2008. Her position is Director of Rehabilitation Services. She is always willing to do what it takes to care for her patients and always with a smile. Beth not only goes above and beyond in her daily work but also coaches her children in sports as well as participates in church activities. In addition, she is working on her Doctorate in Physical Therapy while caring for her husband and four beautiful children.
